Simple 3-ingredient movie night popcorn (vegan/gluten-free)

Here’s what you'll need:

  • 3 tablespoons of coconut oil 

  • ⅔ cup popcorn kernels 

  • Sea salt to taste

Here's how to make your movie night popcorn:

  1. Melt coconut oil into a large pot or popcorn pan

  2. Add in popcorn kernels and spread evenly across bottom of pot 

  3. Cover and let sit on high heat until you hear the first kernel start to pop 

  4. If you’re using a large pot, lift the lid slightly and use oven mitts to lift and shake pan. Do this every thirty seconds or so to prevent the kernels from burning. Do this until popping slows down

  5. If using a popcorn pan, continue to turn handle until popping slows down. 

  6. Remove from heat and pour into your favorite popcorn bowl. Add sea salt to taste and shake around.
